A New Helix Antenna Design

Gain: 15.9 dBci approximately 1 to 1.5 dB better than the standard Helix antennas I have modeled, pattern: First Side lobes at 36 degrees down 14 dB Average of all remaining sidelobes <25 dB, bandwidth: <0.2 dB variability from 432 to 438 Mhz 50 Ohm Match at <1.2 VSWR from 432 to 438 Mhz

A Portable Antenna for Mode B and J Satellites
A 4:1 balun, constructed out of a 1/2 wavelength of RG-58 coax is used to couple the T match to the 50 ohm feedline

A turnstile antenna for 2-meter ARDF
Designed by Jay Hennigan, WB6RDV, these are the same type of antennas I've been using for about seven years for both championship and practice ARDF These are horizontally polarized omindirectional antennas as specified in the IARU R1 ARDF rules

Antena Direcional para UHF - 430 - 450mhz
The boom should be aluminum and rectangular. The diameter used in the antenna tested for this project was 2x2 cm and the total length was 1.80 meters

Antenna for 2m and 70cm
Small antenna for 2m and 70cm, after using it you can roll-up the antenna, very nice on holidays

23cm Yagi Antenna building

23cm Yagi Antenna building Finished antenna at 1275 MHz SWR under 1:1.5 at resonant frequency

50 MHz preamp Gain 26dB with the BFG135

50 MHz preamp Gain 26dB with the BFG135 Preamps for 144 and 430 MHz, for 50 MHz, the BFG135a is a cheap transistor and in my view rather strong. It is not easily damaged by static discharge or RF power. FG connection

30 Volt Computer Power Supply Stack

30 Volt Computer Power Supply Stack A bonus was that i discovered that these did not need a standby load connected to the supply to keep them running just apply mains power and close the Start lead to ground
